Strawberries with chocolate topping

Rinse the strawberries (don't remove the stalks), and
pat dry very with kitchen towl (carefully, but thoroughly).

Melt the chocolate in a water bath (a little pot with
chocolate within a larger pot with simmering water - the water must not boil
for full, because it will make the chocolate too warm and gritty)

Dip the lower part of each strawberry in the melted
chocolate and leave it to dry on a grate or baking paper
Serve on the rocks, or with some vanilla ice cream. |
